Comic Rant Many people complain about having problems getting their kids to read BUT
haven't tried giving them comics. All you have to do hand a kid a comic book and watch them go through them. Think
of a comic book as a novel that has been illustrated and broken into monthly installments. Comics are an IDEAL
alternative reading source. They just happen to bear a nasty lil' stigma of being a "Funny Book". Okay, end of rant. :-)

Artwork I've also have some really nice sketches and comic art pages that I've gathered through the years of
going to conventions. Click here to view them
Comic Books XSTACY, Batman, X-men, Strangers In Paradise, Akiko, Castle Waiting, Crimson, Aria,
HeroBear and the Kid, Liberty Meadows, Tellos, The Wretch, Tom Strong, Promethea, Hell Boy, Dirty Pair,
The Waiting Place are a few of my favorite comic reads. I'm also looking forward to a few books coming out soon, namely The Coffin by Phil Hester and Mike Huddleston and Dan Brereton's latest edition of Nocturnals, Troll Bridge. Both of these are published by Oni Press. I'm including links below to some of the books I like so if you're not familiar
with some of my suggestions, you can find out more about them.

Comic Book Experience
Not only do I enjoy reading comics, but I also work in them.
I've done mostly lettering and pre-production in such books
as Cross Plains Comics' Red Sonja and H.P. Lovecraft's Call
of Cthulhu, LoneStar Press's Force 7 and Strange Heroes, Black
Daze Publishing, and a few other's no longer around.
I've just finished lettering a comic name Skinners with Mat
Broome (with a promise of more from him) and Image is publishing
that one. I have a couple exciting projects coming up with
Digital Broome, Mike Hoffman and Moonstone and as soon as
I can, I'll be putting more up about them. If you're interested
in my services, e-mail me.
